I just made an update, but now everything is messed up in the browser (or customizer). What happened?

Sometimes caching results in old files (like your stylesheet) being mixed with new ones. Type Ctrl + Shift + R. This will cause your browser to refresh all of your files. If you are using a caching plugin, then you may need to refresh that as well. Sometimes your webhost will automatically add a caching plugin, so you should check for that as well.

Why is it that the featured images and featured videos and main background image copies all work fine across all devices, but the traditional main background image behaves inconsistently on mobile devices?

There are two kinds of background images in the Big Bob theme. There is the standard background image that is available to every website, then there are the background images and videos defined by the Big Bob theme (featured images, featured videos and the main background image copies). Every mobile device has its own way of dealing with standard background images, and there are some inconsistencies. However, you can turn off the main background image while leaving on the main background image copy. The featured image, featured video and the main background image copy have all been designed to behave as similar as feasible across all devices.

How come when I click the back button, the last link that I clicked is highlighted?

This is to help improve the site’s accessibility for keyboard users. If you click outside the highlighted link, it will go away.

I just updated my site. Why can’t I see the changes?

This isn’t because of the Big Bob theme. It is related to caching. There may be multiple caches that are keeping your website from updating right away. Please research the internet for details. You may want to start by checking out this article.
